Events for Kids at Library!

Make the holiday season even more fun with these great activities for kids at Wayne County Public Library.

Pre-K Club

Every Wednesday and Thursday morning at 10:30, we invite preschoolers ages 3-5 to come for stories, songs, games, and crafts.  This activity-filled hour will introduce your child to the concept of language and prepare them for the world of books. For more information, call the children’s department at (919) 735-1824 ext. 5105.

By introducing the concept of books, this fun program helps toddlers 18 months to 3 years develop the basic skills needed when learning to read.  Join us every Wednesday morning at 9:30 for stories, songs, games, and crafts.  For more information, call the children’s department at (919) 735-1824 ext. 5105.

Baby and Me

Join us for a fun-filled program designed especially for parents and babies 9 to 18 months.  Every Thursday morning at 9:30, we get together to read stories, learn new songs, and play with others.  For more information, call the children’s department at (919) 735-1824 ext. 5105.
