Downloadable E-books Are Here!

Wayne County Public Library now offers e-books for download!  Supported devices include the Nook, Kindle, iPad, and nearly every other e-book reader.  All you need is your library card and PIN number, and you can access over 1,200 digital books for free, right now.

To download books for our digital library, just visit the e-iNC Library and click on Sign-In.  Choose Wayne County Public Library from the list of supported institutions, then enter your library card and PIN number to start browsing and downloading!

Once you find the book you want, simply click on the format you want.  You can have up to four books checked out at a time, and all items are checked out for 14 days.  After the checkout time has expired, the book will be removed from your device automatically.

When you checkout your items, you can download them to your computer and then sync them to your device.  If you’re using a Kindle, you’ll simply log-in to your Amazon account and then send the book to your device instantly.

There’s no charge for using this service, and since the item is removed from your device automatically, you’ll never have to worry about late fees.  If you’re using an iPad, and iPhone, or an Android device, there’s even an app you can download to browse and check-out books directly on your device, so you’ll always be connected to the library.

If you have any questions, feel free to call Wayne County Public Library at (919) 735-1824.  We’ll be happy to help you use this exciting new service.
